Air Conditioning Service Supervisor

Job Role

The Air Conditioning Service Supervisor is a pivotal role within the Service and Maintenance department at the Cambridge branch. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Service Engineer looking for their next step.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist the Service Manager in the overall performance and co-ordination of the Service and Maintenance Department.
  • Be a point of contact for engineers for technical advice and assistance
  • Develop new and existing client relationships.
  • Liaise with existing and potential clients and provide technical advice and quotations as appropriate.
  • Conduct site visits as required to be able to advise clients or to resolve on site issues.
  • Complete risk assessments and other SHEQ administrative tasks as necessary.
  • Motivate and develop the department’s staff to ensure collaborative, effective and productive work flow and delivery of a high level of service.
  • Be responsible for workforce planning.


Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience as a fully competent refrigeration and air conditioning engineer. 
  • Strong technical knowledge on Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, particularly service and maintenance 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data bases etc. 
  • Ability to work under pressure with excellent time management skills and ability to and prioritise tasks effectively and efficiently. 
  • An understanding of and ability to deliver high levels of customer service
