Danfoss Visit Adcock Training Centre

Thursday, April 26, 2018 | Miscellaneous

The Adcock custom-built training centre situated in King’s Lynn, which has been accredited by the international awarding body City & Guilds, recently had a visit from John Broughton, the Global Application Manager from Danfoss.

Danfoss are a global producer of products and services used in areas such as refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, motor control and mobile machinery. They are also active in the field of renewable energy as well as district heating infrastructure for cities and urban communities. You can find out more about Danfoss here.

John, supported by Lance Jordan and Adrian Butlin (also from Danfoss), updated our electronic gateway pack system with the latest AK-SM 800 pack control manager. They spent most of the day installing the new kit and giving the necessary training to our team at Kings Lynn Training Centre.

Danfoss has also supplied us with 10 refrigerant comparators for students to use during training. In addition, they have already agreed to return to install a dedicated pack controller that will connect into the control manager.

Adcock would like to thank everyone involved at Danfoss in supplying the new control system. With special thanks to John, Lance and Adrian for their time traveling to Kings Lynn to install it, going out of their way to speak with engineers and providing an exceptional service.
