Boultbee Brooks Real Estate have chosen Adcock to provide an efficient climate control solution for their new project at 35 – 45 Greyfriars Road in Reading. The new building, The Brick Works, is described as a “Shoreditch-style back to frame redevelopment”.  Adcock carried out installation of VRV Air Conditioning equipment as well as Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MHVR) and WC extracts to all floors. Daikin VRV system uses variable refrigerant flow control to provide occupants with the ability to maintain individual zone control in each room and floor of a building. MVHR provides fresh filtered air into the building whilst retaining most of the energy that has already been used in heating the building. 

Adcock’s engineering team worked closely with the consulting engineer and the architects to develop a scheme that would provide the required energy efficiency and performance with the flexibility offered by a VRV system whilst ensuring the desired visual effects of an 'exposed' services installation were maintained. As a Daikin D1+ Premium Business Partner we were able to offer extended 7-year warranty, signaling confidence in the quality of both the equipment and the installation.
