Adcock Wins Another Prestigious Project for Wates Construction!

We are delighted to announce yet another successful installation project for our
valued, long-standing client, Wates Construction. Adcock has been awarded the
tender for the creation of a comfortable environment at the Signature Senior Lifestyle
- Highgate Care Home.

For this project, we were responsible for supplying, installing, and commissioning ten
Daikin 3-pipe Heat Recovery VRV Air Conditioning systems, each connected to 220
indoor FCUs (Fan Coil Units). These VRV systems offer the convenience of
simultaneous comfort heating and cooling, achieved through various styles of indoor
units.

In addition, Adcock has provided standalone temperature control for the server
room.

To ensure efficient management and control of the entire system, the installation
included a Daikin Intelligent Touch Manager (ITM) centralised controller, complete
with a BACnet interface for Building Management System (BMS) connection and full
control.

As part of our commitment, safety, compliance and the environment, Adcock
included a Refrigerant Leak Detection System in accordance with EN378:2016. In
the event of a refrigerant leak, each faceplate is equipped to provide an audio and
visual alert within the affected space. These alerts are transmitted to a remote panel
on the floor, where staff can respond promptly.
