Sustainability only means something when ambition is turned into action.
We’re proud to announce that Adcock Refrigeration and Air Conditioning has achieved Mitsubishi Electric’s Committed Carbon Reduction Partner (CCRP) accreditation - another important milestone in our commitment to reducing our environmental impact.
The CCRP accreditation has been developed by Mitsubishi Electric to recognise Partners that are actively preparing for a lower-carbon future. Achieving the status requires businesses to demonstrate a clear carbon reduction plan, an established commitment towards net zero and the appropriate level of sustainability training.
For Adcock, this complements our longstanding status as a Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Quality Partner, bringing together two areas that are increasingly inseparable in our industry: quality and sustainability. But this isn’t simply about adding another logo to our list of accreditations.
Across our business, we are continuing to look at practical ways to reduce our impact – from increasing the use of electric and hybrid vehicles and generating renewable energy at our branches, to responsible refrigerant recovery and reclamation and using locally based engineers wherever possible to minimise unnecessary travel.
As an HVAC specialist, we also have an important role beyond our own carbon footprint. The systems we design, install, maintain and ultimately replace can have a significant influence on the energy performance of our customers’ buildings. Our responsibility is therefore twofold: to reduce the impact of our own operations while helping our customers reduce theirs.
Working closely with manufacturers such as Mitsubishi Electric also gives our teams access to evolving technologies, training and expertise that can help customers make better-informed decisions about efficiency, decarbonisation and the future of their HVAC systems.
Whether you’re looking to improve energy efficiency, modernise ageing equipment or explore lower-carbon HVAC solutions, our team can help.
