Adcock are proud to celebrate this year’s group of Fundamental Engineers, who have successfully completed their training programme and passed their final examinations at the Adcock Training Centre in King’s Lynn.
Their achievement marks the culmination of two years of structured learning, practical training and hands-on experience designed to give our engineers the technical knowledge, confidence and practical skills they need to build successful careers within the HVAC and refrigeration industry.
The programme covers a broad range of essential engineering skills, including installation, commissioning, fault finding, servicing and maintenance. Trainees are also required to demonstrate their practical ability through projects including the installation and commissioning of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, while developing the professional and customer service standards expected of every Adcock engineer.
They also complete their Category 1 F-Gas qualification, providing the certification required for the safe handling of refrigerants and forming an important part of their progression as qualified engineers.
This year’s successful group continues a training tradition that has been firmly established within Adcock for more than two decades.
Training engineers the “Adcock Way” remains an important part of our long-term strategy. Rather than relying solely on recruiting experienced engineers from an increasingly competitive marketplace, we continue to invest in developing our own people, combining recognised qualifications with practical experience, technical knowledge and the standards of workmanship and customer service expected across the company.
With demand for skilled HVAC and refrigeration engineers continuing to grow, we are committed to expanding this investment further. Plans are already being developed to offer even more training places in the coming years, creating opportunities for the next generation of engineers while supporting the continued growth of the business.
Paul Brant, Managing Director, said:
“I am extremely proud of everyone who has completed the Fundamental Engineering programme this year. Reaching this stage takes commitment, hard work and a real willingness to learn, and they should all be very proud of what they have achieved.
Our Training Centre has been developing engineers for 23 years, and investing in our own people remains a key part of our future. We want to give people the opportunity to build long-term engineering careers while ensuring they are trained to the high technical and professional standards we expect at Adcock.
We have an excellent team passing their knowledge on to the next generation, and we intend to keep investing in that. Our ambition is to offer even more training opportunities in the coming years and continue developing skilled engineers the Adcock Way.”
A huge congratulations to all of this year’s Fundamental Engineers on successfully completing the programme and passing their examinations. A fantastic achievement and a strong foundation for the next stage of their careers. We are proud to see them take this next step and look forward to the contribution they will make across Adcock in the years ahead.
