Built for Uptime: Adcock Delivers N+1 HVAC Solution for Reading Law Firm

Adcock has successfully completed the installation of a high-performance HVAC system for Blandy & Blandy Solicitors at their offices in Reading, ensuring optimal environmental conditions within a critical communications room hub. Blandy & Blandy became a new client of Adcock in November 2025, and this project marks the beginning of a strong working partnership.  

The project required a precise and reliable solution capable of maintaining a constant temperature to protect sensitive IT and communications infrastructure. To meet this requirement, Adcock designed and installed a system with full N+1 redundancy, ensuring continuous operation even in the event of a unit failure. This failover capability is essential for business-critical environments where downtime is not an option. 

Following an assessment of the room size and cooling demands, Adcock proposed and installed two wall-mounted systems manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric. Each unit delivers up to 7.1kW of nominal cooling capacity and operates using R32 refrigerant, offering both high efficiency and reduced environmental impact. Configured in an N+1 arrangement, the systems provide resilience, flexibility, and consistent performance. As a Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Quality Partner, the manufacturer’s highest accreditation, Adcock demonstrates proven expertise in the design, installation, and maintenance of advanced HVAC solutions.
