Integrated VRV HVAC and Ventilation Systems Delivered at Colchester Bus Depot

Adcock is pleased to continue its long-standing partnership with Horizon Construction Ltd, supporting the delivery of a major HVAC installation at the Colchester Bus Depot, a collaboration that builds on our relationship established in 2015.

The project includes the supply, installation and commissioning of advanced HVAC systems across the ground, first, second and third floors. The solution features exposed ducted indoor units to suit the open-plan environment, integrated ventilation systems designed to meet required occupancy air-change rates and independent cooling units serving comms rooms on each level. A centralised touch-screen controller provides global system management, including scheduled control of the toilet extract system.

To support the project’s sustainability objectives, Adcock has installed a Daikin VRV system that meets the required BREEAM Pol-01 credit criteria, incorporating heat-recovery technology to improve energy efficiency and reduce operational carbon impact.
