Adcock has recently completed a ventilation project at Silverstone on behalf of long-standing client 3S Northampton Ltd, with whom we have worked since 2017.
The project involved the design and installation of a bespoke ventilation solution for an equipment room facility. The system was designed to manage the significant heat generated by the equipment within the space, helping to maintain a stable environment while making effective use of ambient air.
The installation includes two external air handling units and an intelligent controls system that continuously monitors conditions within the room. The system automatically adjusts its operation to suit changing temperatures, helping to maintain suitable operating conditions while minimising energy consumption wherever possible.
In addition to temperature control, the solution provides ongoing monitoring, alarm notifications and performance trending, giving the client greater visibility of the environment and helping to support the reliability of critical equipment.
While not the most visible part of a building, ventilation systems such as this play an important role in protecting infrastructure, improving efficiency and reducing operational risk. By designing a solution tailored to the client's requirements, the project provides both flexibility and resilience for the future.
We would like to thank 3S Northampton Ltd for their continued trust and support and look forward to working together on future projects.
